The Gallery at The Braid is a beautiful art space dedicated to showing works of beauty and depth illuminating the human condition, often through a Jewish lens. We feature new, emerging and established artists using various mediums and uniquely curate art shows to tie into performances or events presented at The Braid, thus deepening patron engagement.

The Gallery at JWT hosts the debut showing of Secrets: Maury Ornest’s hidden art that reveals the hope and beauty within a troubled mind. Maury Ornest’s journal says “…from every part of me and my soul I have no choice but to paint.” This reflection tugs at the heartstrings of everyone who sees his canvasses, because they negate the severe darkness that was going on inside his head by bursting with light, color, joy—and hope.
The world premiere of Secrets will begin at on Saturday, January 19 at 6:30pm with an art talk, followed by the first performance of “Family Secrets” at 8pm. There is no charge for the Gallery show, but those wishing to stay for the debut of the performance must purchase tickets.
